  • Second Game Crash?

Nintendo, once the company that saved gaming, is now facing backlash for filing patents that could let it claim ownership over common gameplay mechanics, sparking fears it could stifle creativity and harm both major studios and indie developers alike.

  • So… Doctor Who Just Regenerated Into Rose Tyler?

According to writer Robert Shearman, the 15th Doctor’s regeneration into Billie Piper has basically put a full stop on the entire Doctor Who story. That’s a wild way to end things if he’s right. After all these years, do you think this is a fitting way to close the loop or does it feel more like the show’s run out of ideas?

What game do you always replay each year?

I always come back to ARK: Survival Evolved during Christmas time and never manage to progress enough to finish a map.. I'll also return to Terraria every once and again. Another big one is World of Warcraft but that one just requires such a big time investment if you want to be any good at it

Yeah, I get that about WoW, it can be such a huge time sink if you try to keep up with everything. Even just playing casually can feel like a lot with all the dailies and raids. Honestly, sometimes it’s way more fun to just wander around and enjoy the world without stressing about being good at it.

I try to play Metal Gear Solid 1-3 every year (and if I can't make all of them, at LEAST 3. It's just peak in the purest sense of the word), as well as the OG FF7.

There are a lot of like, 'faster' games I replay every year; the Mega Man X series, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, various fighting games, but those don't feel like they take up enough time to be considered true replays haha.
