I can't blame Ito for not being into video games. It's not everybody's thing. But it would behoove him to at least read the final script for the first Silent Hill or watch a playthrough. It seems like it would fit with his particular style, maybe inspire some more manga. More "a world shaped by an angry, traumatized little girl's psychic powers" than anything combat related.

For people looking for an Ito-esque horror experience mixed with a good dose of Lovecraft, try World of Horror if you haven't yet. Very atmospheric and fun game.
