I was never a huge fan of the original though I was right in the target audience. I didn't hate it by any means but it just wasn't really a hit for me. However I really enjoyed Tron Legacy quite a bit. Ares just looks kind of boring to me. It looks like it takes place mostly off of The Grid which seems a bit pointless to me.

I never fully understood Tron, so I doubt I’ll have a reason to watch this. That being said, it’ll be interesting to see if there’s still any appeal left in this franchise.
