Saudis enter the race for WB Discovery

I think I saw this coming at the back of my head. The Saudis don't just have the money, they also have the infrastructure to fund such a venture in the long term. The only problem is the political angle. A Saudi-owned WB would become a Saudi-state-owned arm of the media, something I'm sure the US isn't ready for.
I mean, even Trump is eager for Saudi investment, but I think this one is too close to home even for him. Either way, this would be a big win for WB shareholders because the Saudis will happily overpay, and even if they don't get it, share prices skyrocket and they still win!

Not to mention all the legal issues that the Siegel and Shuster estates try to throw every so often. But I get it DC did do wrong by them, but they did accept a settlement and did get to see the Christopher Revees Superman on the silver screen before their passing.

This actually changed very quickly. The Saudis are now backing Paramount in the hostile takeover bid and no one seems to have a problem with it lol. I actually think it is better if Netflix get WB at this point
