With so much Saudi money to go around, it was only a matter of time before Hollywood got a big boost. However, the Saudis have instead chosen to invest in the most hated branch of Hollywood. Luma AI CEO was seated alongside the CEO of Particle 6 when they announced the controversial AI actress Tilly Norwood was getting a talent agent in Hollywood.
The Luma CEO said they were working with multiple studios in Hollywood, but undercover. At that time, the total investment in Luma wasn't anywhere above $100 million. Now imagine what they can do with $900 million and access to some of the world's largest data centers! This could see Luma AI build 1000+ Tilly Norwoods, which is catastrophic for the industry.
