Nexus Point isn't exactly the most reliable source for MCU scoops, but they sound pretty confident about this one. The MCU's plans beyond Secret Wars are anyone's guess, but there's, allegedly, a solid spot secured for Strange, and Benedict Cumberbatch is apparently playing a major role.
After Cumberbatch's character practically launched the Multiverse saga, the character has been sidelined, and Doctor Strange isn't even in Avengers: Doomsday. I don't understand why they would bring him back when everything is over. Maybe he will come in Secret Wars and play a role in the repairing of reality afterward.
