Movies That Hit Different When You Rewatch Them

Been going through some old movies lately and they hit a lot differently than I remembered. Just rewatched The Fifth Element and the costumes, the effects, even the weird humor... it’s all still so fun and kind of wild compared to today’s stuff.

What old movies do you go back to when you just want that nostalgia fix? Any that actually feel better now than when you first saw them?

Totally, The Fifth Element is such a ride. For me, I go back to Ghostbusters, definitely goofy and fun, but it still holds up way better than I expected.

For me it’s Starship Troopers. I thought it was dumb when I was younger, now it’s one of the smartest sci-fi movies ever made. Funny how that happens.

Carriers is a wild one to watch post covid.

My biggest one was Into the Spider-Verse. I think it was overhyped and I thought it was just okay in theaters. It’s grown on me more and more with each viewing.

Predator (the one Arnold Schwarzenneger starred in)

This movie remains fresh everytime I watch it. It's one of those evergreen movies
