Hi friends! Have you ever watched any Wuxia shows? Like The Legend of the Condor Heroes? Smiling, Proud Wanderer? The Four? KungFu Hustle?
Jin Yong's masterpieces have been rehashed regularly adapted as TV shows, and each time it is redone, it is always better.

Yeah, I’ve watched Kung Fu Hustle a ton, that teahouse fight never gets old. I haven’t gotten around to The Legend of the Condor Heroes yet, but I’ve heard it’s amazing. Definitely planning to dive into more of Jin Yong’s stuff soon.

There's a reason why it keeps on rehashed. Epic screenplay, adapted from epic comic book, adapted from epic novel.

And yes, Kung Fu Hustle never gets bored

Kung Fu Hustle and anything Stephen Chow is great. I’m pickier with my wuxia stuff though since I feel like some take it to the extreme. But I’m down to give whatever I haven’t seen that looks intriguing a try.
I get what you mean - some wuxia can go full melodrama or CGI overload. But when it’s done right, it’s legendary. You might like The Storm Riders series; it’s based on Ma Wing-shing’s manhua and has that gritty, emotional tone with some seriously cool martial arts choreography.

Sounds cool. I’ll look into it one of these days. I can look past any shortcomings if the action choreography is solid.
