First-person or third-person?

Which perspective do you stick with in games, and why?

I find first person so much better when using a keyboard and mouse, feels more immersive.

Why limit it to just those two all the time?

I'm with segadude. Most shooters should give us the option.

Though if I had to pick... 1st person just for the sake of immersion.

Since I enjoy playing 2D Top Down RPG the most, Ill go with third-person

I know I've made my preference known, but I still want echo my choice. I’m all for third-person games - I like seeing the character I poured my heart and soul into. After all, what’s the point of spending ages customizing your hero if you can’t admire your handiwork, right? It really helps me get into their shoes and feel part of the story. Like, it's very immersive
