Two things here - games shouldn't be upwards of 64GB - it's just poor optimisation at that point and the reason that publishers go for key cards is that they also hate physical copies, which customers truly own.

True. But one of the hallmarks of that game is that it introduced the first type of summons where they came across like a video it was super dramatic at that time, and it looked hyper realistic and it was cool but the story was pretty basic with only a couple interesting points but overall it was very cinematic, especially the ending, and some of the mid boss. It flexed CGI when it wasn't common back than on systems. They got lucky dropping it when 3D took hold, CGI, High quality CD audio etc.
