Time and time again, Tekken games end with Jin fighting Heihachi, or his father Kazuya.
What happened to King? Paul Phoenix? What's the point of the other Tekken characters?

Yeah, the main story always ends up being the Mishima family drama. Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi throwing each other off cliffs again. Everyone else like King, Paul, Law, etc. are basically side stories that add flavor. Without them, it’d just be one long soap opera about angry dads and sons.
