So with Wizards of the Coast pushing more and more into subscription models and digital platforms, it kinda feels like we’re losing the table in tabletop. Instead of just grabbing some books, dice, and friends, the big push now is apps, logins, and whatever “official” tools they want you to pay for.
It makes me wonder if we're heading toward a future where you don’t really own your game anymore and instead you’re just renting access from a corporation? Or am I overthinking it and this is just another shift the community will roll with?
