Been looking at this list of the scariest films according to a science experiment. I gotta say, source isn't the most trustworthy but they have a point. I could personally make a case for Sinister. However, those skeletons in the final scene have never left my head so I gotta say The Conjuring is the scariest film here.

Yeah, Talk to Me being on there feels wild to me, it had a cool premise but it never got under my skin the way the others did and the ending felt weak. And there are a ton of heavy hitters missing. No The Ring, no Blair Witch, no The Exorcist, no It Follows, not even The Descent. Lists like this always feel more like recent buzz and jump scares per minute than an actual measure of what sticks with you years later

Well, personally, no film has ever scared me as hard as Wrong Turn. I still can't rewatch it today and I just can't kick it out 9f my head whenever I'm in a wooded area.@ChriSwan please give us your versions ofvthe scariest films
