Howard Gordon has written "another idea" for the 24 series and guess who is coming back! Same old Kiefer Sutherland. That's right. He recently told a podcast that the story was left wide open and he can't wait to give it a proper ending. I just don't understand why studios don't learn. This series had a chance at revival with 24 Legacy, but it backfired horribly.
After 6 24-hour seasons, I wonder what is so new about Jack Bauer that fans are really dying to see. Come to think of it, Howard's new ideas after he moved on from 24, including Homeland, Accused, etc, have worked great, so why go back to a show that clearly ended its run?

Oh wow, I might actually be interested in this one. I remember watching these when they were airing live, even if it's not as good this time around I might just watch for the nostalgia

The show was good at the beginning, then they overstretched it and no one was interested anymore. Bringing it back now only looks like someone is getting greedy
