    Yeah, I get that. Look at Spider-Man, how many reboots has he had in the last 20 years alone? Most of them just feel like a quick cash grab rather than a real story update

    HBO Max Hiking Prices & Cracking Down on Password Sharing

    Yeah, not surprised. Every streaming service is hiking prices now, and HBO Max knows it’s got heavy-hitters like The Last of Us and Peacemaker to lean on. Cracking down on password sharing is definitely their Netflix move. The risk is people getting fed up and jumping ship though.

    Dragon Ball Super vs. Z: Did the Series Peak?

    Totally get that. I think DB Super has its moments, but it definitely leans hard on nostalgia and fan service, sometimes to the point where the stakes feel… optional. The movies you mentioned are way tighter because they don’t have to stretch things out over dozens of episodes. I totally agree...

    What’s Everyone Collecting These Days?

    Right now my collection is mostly Funko Pops. Lots of Star Wars and Marvel, plus a few Kotobukiya statues from DC and other anime stuff I’m really proud of.

    What's Your Go-To Anime Recommendation?

    I’d recommend Barakamon. It’s a slice-of-life about a calligrapher who moves to a small village and ends up learning a lot about life and himself from the quirky locals. It’s funny, heartwarming, and a super easy watch even if you’re not usually into anime.

    Toy sales appear to be on the rise, is this a renaissance?

    Nice! Not a full-blown comeback, but after the post-C19 slump and a flat 2024, a 6% rise is actually pretty encouraging.

    Haha, yeah, Deadpool and Wolverine are untouchable. She-Hulk, Echo, Ironheart… yikes. RDJ running around might help, though.
