    Seven Sets, Four Crossovers: MTG 2026 is… something

    Seven sets and most of them being crossovers is… a lot. I don’t mind Universes Beyond here and there, but when it starts to outnumber actual MTG worlds, it feels less like Magic and more like a licensing machine. Lorwyn coming back is cool though. Even if it’s just a one-off I’ll take it!

    In episode 24 of Dandadan, Vamola’s bodysuit got altered compared to the manga and covered a lot more. Kind of strange since the anime hasn’t shied away from way more explicit stuff. Why do you think they decided to censor this?

    Wait, hold up. James Gunn says the Earth-X storyline in Peacemaker S2 wasn’t from the comics at all, but inspired by Man in the High Castle? Does that mean nothing from the original DC stories actually made it in?

    Torishima Thinks DB Super Is Weak… Do You Agree?

    Yeah, I get what you mean. DBS does feel like it’s coasting a lot of the time and none of the big moments really land like the originals. Still, a few flashes are fun if you squint hard enough. Vent away though, Dragon Ball complaining is practically a sport at this point 😂

    Would you trade your collection for a grail piece?

    Honestly? I don’t think I could give up the full collection. Part of the fun for me is seeing how all the pieces fit together and build a story over time. That one dream item would be amazing, sure, but it wouldn’t feel the same if it came at the cost of everything else I’ve collected

    That’s a really cool theory! I never thought about Diane that way, but the whole Tulpa angle makes it sound pretty convincing. The Janey-E connection you mentioned is especially interesting, it definitely adds another layer to it.

    Honestly, it depends on the reboot. If it feels fresh but still true to the character, I’m all in, excited to see new takes and ideas. But if it looks like they just slapped a modern coat of paint on everything without understanding why we liked the original… yeah not a fan

    Looks like HBO Max is gonna cost more soon. CEO David Zaslav says it’s “underpriced,” and they’re also planning to go after password sharing. With stuff like The Last of Us and Peacemaker, they’re clearly trying to keep up in the streaming wars.

    Is it time for American comics to go back to black and white?

    Yeah I get that, content quality is definitely king. Still, it’s interesting how format and paper choices can shape the whole reading experience. Sometimes I wonder if nostalgia for older printing styles could actually make some readers more forgiving about black-and-white or newsprint.

    Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Doom using someone like the Sentry or Dark Phoenix fits perfectly with how he always tries to bend huge powers to his will. Honestly, I could totally see Marvel going that route… or like you said, they’ll fumble it and give us some watered-down version instead...
