    Is the Anime revolution here?

Wow that's insane. I'm sure justified though, I haven't seen the sequel yet, but I just recently saw the first and it was great. I think your theory about animated films dominating might be right. Especially in the age of AI, seems like an easy way for studios to lean on AI for as much of a...

    Pinocchio: Unstrung Childhood Nightmares, Upgraded

I actually just watched Pinocchio again recently and it's always interesting how all older Disney movies always have a layer of creepiness to them already for me. Like if I watch any recent movies I don't feel that way at all, but anything like Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Snow White sometimes I watch...

The Arkham show is not coming in the DCU

Definitely disappointing. I am a sucker for background, backstory, character development, anything along those lines, so I would absolutely love to see them deliver more there

Thoughts on Bibilical Drama "David" possibly becoming the highest grossing US film of the year

Yeah? The art style looks pretty slick, curious how the story is

What is Zack Snyder playing at?

Maybe just feeling a bit nostalgic. I mean I can't disagree with him, Cavill was a great Superman if not the best

Happy New Year fam! Which is the one movie you've vowed to watch in 2026?

Mickey 17 for me. Looked interesting, completely missed when it came out in theaters and then forgot about it 😅 But now I see it's on Prime so the time has come!

    Is Shang-Chi 2 still necessary?

Totally agree, if they're only considering profit at this point (which I have to imagine is where they're at haha) then Shang-Chi is not the move

Thoughts on BIC's top 10 popcorn buckets 2025

I think my favorite has to be the Now You See Me bucket, that one is pretty creative. I truly wonder how someone gets hired to design these, that would be an interesting job 😂

Thoughts on BIC's top 10 popcorn buckets 2025

Wow $75 is insane. Definitely for collectors

    Is Shang-Chi 2 still necessary?

I mean with the first movie coming out in 2021, I imagine much of the interest in a sequel has faded away. Likely time to just move on, although I did enjoy the first I think we can just put this one to bed

Is this the end of Star Wars as we knew it?

Hm. It's pretty disappointing to see how much Star Wars in my opinion has just been run into the ground over the past few years. I understand why they need to keep making content, it's a huge name/universe so they feel the need to capitalize in any way they possibly can, but at the same time it...

David Harbour's chickens are finally coming home to roost!

Well I guess we'll see how this plays out. I'm definitely curious as to what's going on behind the scenes and I imagine at some point there will be some sort of leak to give us more clarity

How do comic adaptations hold up on TV?

Oof completely agree with that. In my mind, at least in recent memory, nothing screams rushed ending like Game of Thrones. I usually love rewatching shows, but I can't bring myself to rewatch that one because I know the ending is so bad. The entire last season was very disappointing

Which is your favorite upcoming project in 2026?

Ah shoot yeah I'm sure that ruins things. I've kind of been avoiding any lore at all costs to make sure I don't go in with any spoilers. Either way, even if something does get spoiled for me the show has been great so far and I think I'd still enjoy it

Which is your favorite upcoming project in 2026?

Definitely house of the dragon. So so excited to see more of that show

David Harbour's chickens are finally coming home to roost!

Yeah, stepping back like that usually means things are messier behind the scenes than what’s being said publicly. Studios don’t love uncertainty, and actors don’t vanish from big projects unless the timing’s bad or the risk’s real. Could still go either way, but it doesn’t feel like a coincidence.

Thoughts on Netflix's plan to cut theatrical runs to just 17 days for WB films

Wow I can't even imagine that. If it was only 17 days why would anyone even bother to go to the theater when they can wait a couple weeks to watch it at home with a subscription they're already paying for. That seems like a horrible idea

Which is your favorite James Cameron film and why?

Completely agree with Titanic. I've actually been in the mood to watch it again over the last week or so and I feel like this is the final push I needed to actually do it 😂
