Crunchyroll President Says Success Of ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ Proves “How Wrong Many Of The Myths About Anime Fandom Are”

I'm in my late 30's, never been an anime fan, Until i accidentally put on an episode of this a few months ago. To my surprise a TON of ppl at work were already into it. Its a reminder that regardless of medium and 'film' style that a good plot and compelling characters are key to the success of a story. Now if only American studios realize that we might start getting (and keeping) good shows on air!

When Crunchyroll starts releasing unredacted, uncensored, and faithfully translated versions of the shows and movies they localize, then I'll give a damn about what they say or do.
You really think they have the final say so when it comes to censorship, that's cute. Besides what they are trying to say is anime has been alit more popular than people have believed for a while and is still ever growing.

Yes, I believe Crunchyroll has the final say in the things they localize. But too often now they've proven themselves to be wokealizers instead and edit or cut out things they believe are "problematic" from their far-Left POV. I'd rather sail the seven seas and watch fan translations than continue supporting Kusony and others that pull that shit.
