Hoult did a great job playing Lex Luthor in Superman, but that is probably as good as the character will ever get in the DCU. Recycling the same villains ì one of the reasons why Superman films failed under Snyder. I think James Gunn is better off building with the heroes rather than recycling villains if the DCU is ever gonna compete with the MCU. There are so many heroes in desperate need of an appearance alongside Superman, why recycle Luthor?

Login to view embedded media Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is set before Spider-Man: Brand New Day, although there won't be that many crossovers, if any. According to Marvel Updates, the show will feature Foggy, which is nostalgic, but I don't think it is necessary at this point. I think Daredevil needs a whole new reason to fight Kingpin in the second season, and bringing back characters from the dead kills the essence of the show. Anyways, it is just speculation at this point, hope to see the full cast list soon

Login to view embedded media So the Horizon II stuntswoman has accused Kevin Costner of Sexual harassment and the judge is allowing the case to go ahead. That means, after the messy child support case with his ex-wife, Costner can't release the second film of his passion project, for which he left Taylor Sheridan's hit show Yellowstone. The star now continues to hemorrhage money I the courts after sinking over $100 million in Horizon as the film now can't be released. All this left me thinking, what if he just stayed and did Season 5 and 6 of Yellowstone before moving to this project, you know, a few extra hundred millions in your pocket with no risks and lots of issues avoided.

I've been looking at DC's next projects and I think watching Supergirl will give us insight into the DCU's cosmic outfit, something Superman doesn't even attempt. However, my primary focus is on Clayface. I think Snyder could have done better with the character. After all the hype and shush that James Gunn has put around the show, I have a feeling he is cooking something with the character

Let's face it, using Santa to spread horror is sick, but then it is also what makes the films great. These guys take gore to a whole new level, but fans love it, which is why Terrifier 3 made so much money on its tiny budget. This Silent Night Deadly Night one sounds a little cliche, although the trailer makes me wanna give it a shot.

Hey everyone. I’m Chris. I watch a lot of movies and mostly stick to writing film reviews for BIC. I also have interests in anime, Godzilla, and video games. I’ve also dabbled in creative writing with hopes of eventually publishing something.

Okay, this is SO shitty from Wizards of the Coast.

Long story short, the recent Spider-Man set for Magic: The Gathering didn't do so hot, with player interest kinda dwindling and sales being way lower than they expected.

As an MTG player, it makes sense; I LOVE Spider-Man, but some of the cards didn't feel that effective in terms of the larger game, some of the character choices were a bit off, and there wasn't really a sense of 'cohesion' between all of them, to say nothing of the fact that the color combos meant you couldn't really theme anything together (For example, The Clone Saga card is Blue, The Jackal is Blue/Green, Ben is Red/Green, Kaine is Red/Black, and Peter is White, meaning a prospective Clone Saga deck wouldn't really function well. Same goes with how Carnage is Red/Black, Venom is Black, and Peter is White.)



So, today, they launched a user feedback survey for the set - and one of the questions on the surveys basically implies that 'negative influencer commentary' was to blame for WotC's own design missteps.

Smooth move, blaming the fans. Like, this just is the absolute wrong way to go about it.

It’s pretty easy to get shouted down or censored on most big platforms these days. Posts disappear, people pile on, and it starts to feel like you can’t say what you actually think without starting a fight.

That’s not what we’re trying to do here.

This community should be a space where you can just say what you think, whether you loved something, hated it, or have an opinion that doesn’t match everyone else’s. Different takes are what make discussions interesting.

I’m working on my own Power Rangers original series. Below is the link to the script doc. It’s available publicly for reading and viewing. However it is still a WIP and I will be updating it whenever I can. I used to have an amazing script writing program on my iOS device, but that app has long since been deleted by Apple for reasons unknown. So I have to work from scratch using basic knowledge and memory from my high school days taking film classes. Also I’ve had to use AI to help me find actual movie scripts as references to help me learn from other writers. I am not using AI to write this at all. So I’m sure a lot of you gamers have already hears about Nintendo’s terrible patent files and lawsuits, but here’s the irony. The same company that once saved and revolutionized gaming, could soon destroy it. Now Nintendo wants to claim ownership of certain game mechanics that have since become a staple in many video game franchises. Eveything from magical weapons, to color shading and character silhouettes, to summoning allies and capturing monsters. It’s absolutely disgusting how a company like Nintendo has gone from a once proud gaming giant into another soulless corporation fatcat, looking to make money through various sinister means— no matter how many customers get hurt or caught in the legal crossfire. I believe that if Nintendo keeps doing this, eventually it’ll force other games to adapt, and remove certain key features or programs that Nintendo may target. Not only that but, even Indie Developers are not safe from Nintendo’s prowling gaze. We need to stop this madness somehow before it’s too late. Otherwise gaming will end with Nintendo’s greed beign teh soul cause of a second game crash.

According to writer Robert Shearman, the 15th Doctor’s regeneration into Billie Piper has basically put a full stop on the entire Doctor Who story.

That’s a wild way to end things if he’s right. After all these years, do you think this is a fitting way to close the loop or does it feel more like the show’s run out of ideas?

What were your TOP 5 favorites?

I’m just a native SoCal looking to make some friends in various fandoms, be it Star Wars, Power Rangers, ATLA, Anime, Comics, etc. Whatever fandoms suit my fancy I suppose. I am an aspiring writer, artist, filmmaker, narrator, and photographer. Of course, as an artist I love all forms of artwork from the classic to the more modern stuff. I’m a bit shy, but I am friendly. I love nerd culture and I hope to see more of the fandom unite to create more stuff.

As the title says! What's your favorite board game that you're playing this week? I thought this would be a fun thing we could do week to week, to see what new games everyone has, and what old games are getting some current love


I'll go first! My FLGS had a bunch of copies of Whitehall on super duper clearance (like $10 bucks). They said they had an event, and ended up with a ton of extra stock.

Whitehall is a newer simpler version of a game called Letters From Whitechapel. It is a "cat and mouse" style game, where one person plays as Jack, moving around the board silently, and doing murders. The rest of the players play as investigators, and try to take on Jack.

My partner and I are getting a ton of mileage out of this game just playing as 2 players (though we tried it as a full group of 4 recently and had just as much fun). Highly recommend I've played both Whitehall and Letters From Whitechapel, and I'll take the new Whitehall personally.

Hamaguchi confirmed the last FF7 Remake game won’t launch with that new “Streamlined Progression” god mode. Says it could ruin the experience for fans. Honestly? Good call. Let people actually play it first.

Do you think this is a fair move or overkill?
