Twisted Metal renewed for Season 3, Are we in the golden age of Video-Game based TV?

So Peacock has done the needful and I don't think anyone expected Twisted Metal to be canceled after the run it has had. However, I'm concerned that the story may become too stereotypical in the third season as creativity wanes. After Fallout, I think Twisted Metal and Gangs of London are the gold of video-game-based shows, and I think more are still to come.

I’m not super shocked Peacock pulled the plug, but it does make me wonder if we hit the ceiling for how far the story can go. Twisted Metal was fun because it leaned into the chaos and I'm sure that vibe is hard to keep fresh season after season.

Still, between this, Fallout, and even Gangs of London, it feels like studios are finally figuring out how to make game-inspired shows actually work which has been refreshing to see
