The cast for Visionquest is out

Been looking forward to this for some time, mostly because I wanted to know what Marvel has in store for Wanda. Paul Bettany is a given in this one. The one thing I'm hoping for is James Spader becoming the face of Ultron. I also hoped toʻsee more of the Young Avengers on this show. However, the cast looks more conservative than interesting, which is fine I think

Ah, I feel you, Paul Bettany is a lock, so that’s cool. Spader as Ultron though? That’s gonna be wild, can’t wait to see him fully lean into that chaos. I get what you mean about the rest of the cast being a bit safe, but honestly, if they pull the story right, I’m still here for it

I'm admittedly pretty excited to see Bettany and Spader again...but I'm also skeptical about the whole 'They're all gonna have a human form'.

How many shows and movies have we had with "AI/machines being depicted in/given human form'? Murderbot, Star Trek: Picard, Tron: Ares. I feel like it's getting too tropey.

Ultron and that whole line are weird shape-shifty, ever-adaptive robots! If you've gotta give 'em a human form, lean into that!

Couldn't agree more. If we are gonna get the human form, allow it to be as relatable as possible, not some half-baked AI interaction. I'm sure they will definitely find a way to ruin it
