"Succession" actress Dasha Nekrasova has been fired by her talent agency, Gersh, after a podcast featured white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

So, the latest scandal in NYC involves the Succession actor Dasha Nekrasova being fired by her talent agent and from a film she had just won a spot in, over a month-old podcast with far-right activist Nick Fuentes. She played Comfrey Pellits in Succession, one of Kendall Roy's PR managers, and had a good 9-episode run.
She hosted Fuentes on her Red Scare podcast back in October, but the real consequences appeared a month later, after the podcast hit over 200k views on YouTube. She is quite talented, and was on the path to greater heights in the industry had she just stayed away from controversy. In the podcast, Fuentes said his usual extreme white supremacist and antisemitic stuff, and Nekraova is totally responsible for her actions too, . Still, now he is getting all the blame while Fuentes gains more publicity for his depraved beliefs, which is just disappointing.

Yeah this one was bound to blow up. Sitting down with Fuentes even for “edgy” reasons is the kind of move reps won’t touch. Dasha’s talented, but she keeps walking into fire, and this time it finally caught up with her. Meanwhile Fuentes gets more attention out of it, which is the most annoying part.

I actually think Fuentes enjoyed the whole thing. Nekrasova was a hot potato from the start though, she has always tested the limits with the far right and it was always bound to blow back on her at some point.
