Just how wild can Gamestop's "Trade in anything day" get?

This is absolutely wild!
In the latest news, GameStop has announced December 6th, 2025, as their "Trade In Anything Day," so everyone can literally walk into the store with any item that can fit into a box and walk out with store credit. Of course, there are a couple of exemptions, such as dead or living animals, guns and ammo, toxic waste, and the like, but I don't think they have exempted nearly enough items. It is also unclear how the valuation will happen. I'm still waiting for chaos to unfold because I can't rule out gamers showing up with the most shocking personal items imaginable!

That’s such a wild promo idea. GameStop saying “bring anything that fits in a box” feels like an open invitation for absolute chaos. I’m fully expecting people to roll up with the most cursed items imaginable just to see what they can get for it 😂
