    Introduce Yourself

Is Shang-Chi 2 still necessary?

I mean with the first movie coming out in 2021, I imagine much of the interest in a sequel has faded away. Likely time to just move on, although I did enjoy the first I think we can just put this one to bed

Well if Marvel is looking to do a soft reboot after secret wars than what is really the point in pushing comic characters that the normies don't really care about? Marvel lost so much money pushing the DEI stuff that they are broke or near too it. So if profit is what they care about now, than I don't see a sequel happening.

Totally agree, if they're only considering profit at this point (which I have to imagine is where they're at haha) then Shang-Chi is not the move

I truly hope I am wrong, But my gut tells me that they will only care about profit till they can afford to push "the message" again, instead of letting the market dictate the stories they tell. Or not to start a conspiracy theory, "the message" was a test run to see what propaganda could be pushed at present time. lol
