The newest survival crafting game, which was initially planned as a Minecraft mod, has finally arrived. But is it worth purchasing right now?
When you boot up Hytale, it has an apparent resemblance to Minecraft with the iconic blocky style. However, it offers more structures, various enemies, an interesting combat style, and even unique subterranean environments depending on the biome. But at its current state in Early Access, you'll mainly be exploring the new world.
Thankfully, Hypixel founder Simon Collins-Laflamme has been honest about the development of Hytake, saying that it will be a "forever game."
While the game is worth keeping an eye on, Hytale might not be worth purchasing if you're looking for Minecraft 2, as you'll start to feel like you've done everything within 20 to 30 hours. But the future is promising, especially when you go to the main hub area and see everything that is "Under Construction," but patience has never been my strong suit.
What are your thoughts on Hytale so far? Are you still enjoying it, or have you hit a wall and put it aside?
