Ryan Coogler has confirmed that his next movie is Black Panther 3, and I knew it was coming. Most importantly, Denzel Washington has a role in the film, so I'm guessing lots of stars and another explosive fight as enemies take advantage of T'Challa's absence, so everyone must save Wakanda from extinction, right? Simple as that summary sounds, it is exactly what we are likely to get because cracks already started showing in Black Panther 2 which turned into a nostalgia rant with little substance. I hope Coogler gives himself ample time to write a film that can really make that franchise competitive in the MCU once again.

Yeah, Coogler doing BP3 was expected, but Denzel being involved is wild. Your guess about the plot is probably close, they’re still trying to figure out the post-T’Challa direction and BP2 definitely showed the cracks. Hopefully Coogler takes his time and actually rebuilds the story instead of leaning on nostalgia

I've heard the film could be titled 'Shadows of Wakanda,' which is impressive. However, Disney is pressuring Marvel to keep costs down, so it won't have the same investment level as the first 2 films. In my experience, cost-cutting leads to negative results, and most of the expensive stars could refuse to return if the money isn't right.
