How will The Punisher fit into Spider-Man Brand New Day's PG-13 environment?

The Punisher is one of the most exciting characters in Brand New Day for me, but I'm worried about the impact of the film's PG-13 rating. I understand Jon Bernthal insists on the unleashed version of the character, and even left Daredevil: Born Again in the beginning for that reason.
PG-13 means he'll be very reserved, so minimal violence and even less cursing, which practically means a less interesting version of The Punisher. I understand they will make it work somehow, but are we really going to love him in this one?

Yeah I’m kinda worried too. Bernthal shines when the character gets to be brutal, and PG-13 really limits that. I’ll still give it a chance, but it’s hard not to wonder if he’ll feel a bit too toned down. I guess we'll on this one

In Daredevil: Born Again, Bernthal's performance felt a little forced really. I think he only signed up to keep the character alìe for his upcoming show. Getting another poorly written part in Spider-Man will ruin that in my opinion.
