I have enjoyed every character in DC Comics' Absolute series so far, especially Wonder Woman. Bringing Diana back as the princess forged by the fires of hell itself gives the character a strong background. Absolute Batman and Superman are also better, despite feeling darker.
According to Kelly Thompson, the trident wouldn't have been included in Absolute WW if Absolute Aquaman wasn't coming. We now have a chance to see the most badass version of the character, then just picture Jason Momoa in the role.
