Sonic Team Not Interested in Adventure Remakes

So, apparently the reason we haven’t gotten Sonic Adventure remakes isn’t money or time… Sonic Team just doesn’t want to do them. Iizuka said they’d rather spend that energy making new games. SEGA could outsource it, but don’t hold your breath. So it seems like Adventure remakes are dead… for now.

The 5 Board Games That Actually Matter in the Last Decade

Okay, I should probably hop in with my top 5 too: Wingspan: Chill engine-building and gorgeous art. Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion: Tactical combat that actually feels like a story. Root: Totally different play styles for each faction, love it. Ark Nova: Heavy, but building your zoo is oddly...

    Fantastic Fest 2025: Primate

Primate is a slasher with a rabid monkey as the killer. It's gory, tense, and even kind of funny at times. Would you actually watch a horror movie where the main villain is a monkey?

The Wolverine game has med kits?

This has always been a challenge in Wolverine video games, how do you make the game a challenge when the hero can tank just about every assault thrown at him? The Superman game was plagued with this. Wolverine needing med kits is kind of strange, in the early days of gaming I would understand...

Is it time for American comics to go back to black and white?

Among many things in todays economy, the price of comics has bitten some consumers too hard. Toy sales appear to be on the rise, is this a renaissance?

It's not an awesome rebound, but after the post-C19 drop off, and then a stagnant 2024---this 6% rise seems like genuine good news!

Kazuhiko Torishima, Toriyama’s old editor, just went off on Dragon Ball Super and Daima. He called Toyotarou’s manga “bad,” blasted the editing, said a Vegeta story would’ve been better, and straight-up called Daima a “sh***y anime.” Coming from the guy who helped shape the original series...

The Deadpool & Wolverine vibe has faded, can Avengers: Doomsday change ANYTHING?

You won't catch me holding my breath for a fresh energy in the MCU, I'm with the crowd that sees Deadpool & Wolverine as a unique scenario that the rest of the MCU can't match. She-Hulk, the disaster of Echo and now the absolute faceplant called Ironheart, doesn't inspire a lot of confidence...

    Splinter Cell: Deathwatch

Netflix and Ubisoft are selling Splinter Cell: Deathwatch as Sam Fisher’s big comeback, but it already feels like a corporate remix. They won’t say if it’s canon, Kolstad’s out here talking about “ripping the spine out” of the story, and Michael Ironside’s been swapped for Liev Schreiber. Yeah...
