Sony and CBS settle Wheel of Fortune dispute, but is it a little too late?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, feels like the show’s not nearly as big of a deal as it used to be. Still, it’s kind of wild that there was such a big fuss over it. At least things are settled now.

Guillermo del Toro wouldn't even use a VFX ship in Frankenstein!

Yeah, that’s classic del Toro, he’s one of the few directors left who still insists on doing things the hard way. You can tell it’s made by people who actually cared about every frame. Makes sense why his stuff always stands out.

Paramount+ set for a price increase, but this one actually makes sense!

Yeah, a $1 increase doesn’t sound too bad, especially compared to what Disney just pulled. If the UFC deal actually brings more value and fresh content, I can see why they’d make the move. At least it feels like there’s a reason behind it this time and not just an obvious money grab

    Suggestion Box

Great suggestion and something we have planned actually! I'll make an announcement now, but we have a new stream schedule coming starting this weekend :)

Christy: Sydney Sweeney gives the bravest reaction yet to her movie flopping

Yeah, I haven’t seen the movie either, but I did watch a documentary about Christy and her story is honestly wild. I can see why it was made into a movie even if it didn't land, the real story behind it is definitely worth telling.

Is James Gunn's Superman the best superhero film of 2025?

Yeah the movie was solidly okay, but those numbers sound a little too good to be true. It definitely did well, but I’m not sure it pulled in that much profit. It’s weird how every outlet keeps twisting box office talk into some kind of “win or lose” narrative when a movie can be good without...

So Fantastic Four: First Steps got a whole new score at the last minute!

Yeah, I felt the same way. The score wasn’t the issue at all, it actually worked fine. The problem was the script. None of the characters felt grounded, and it all just kind of blurred together. It’s a shame because there was a lot of potential there and I really really wanted the movie to be good

    Hi guys!

Hey glad to have you here! Maybe one you've seen already, but Ex Machina is one of my favorites. I've rewatched that movie so many times

Blokees Does What Marvel And DCan't

That’s awesome, I hadn’t even heard of Blokees before. Forty bucks for all that is pretty wild and getting DC and Marvel licenses this early is pretty impressive too. Might have to take a look and see if I can grab a few

Stranger Things: Tales From '85 just got interesting

Yeah, I get what you mean, it does feel a bit like they’re trying to wrap things up while setting the stage for spin-offs. The Duffers moving to Paramount definitely adds some uncertainty, but maybe this animated series will show whether there’s still real passion behind the project or if it’s...

Do we really need a John Rambo prequel?

Yeah, totally with you on that not every classic needs a prequel or reboot. Part of what made Rambo work was the mystery behind the character, so I'm not really interested in seeing every detail spelled out

    Please don't delay GTA 6!

Well..that is really disappointing to hear. But I understand that the game needs to be released under the right conditions and everyone needs to be treated well, so I'm willing to wait if it means the game is released under good terms

    Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion

Yeah, I love that kind of replay value. It’s one of those games where even when you know the missions, the dynamics still surprise you. Curious what made you want to pick it back up again?

    Hey from Montreal!

Hey welcome! Always good to see another MAPPA fan, they’ve been on an insane streak lately. I've been deep into Chainsaw Man myself lately

Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc

Just finished Chainsaw Man: The Movie: Reze Arc. first half is surprisingly sweet slice-of-life with Denji, Reze, and Makima, then the Bomb Devil hits and it goes full chaos. MAPPA’s animation is insane, and the mix of heart and blood-soaked action really works. For those who’ve seen it: did...

Hey everyone, figured I’d introduce myself 👋

Hey, welcome, glad to have you here! For me, it started with reading Batman: The Animated Series comics as a kid. The stories, the art, and the world-building just drew me in and I’ve been hooked on comics ever since.

    Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics

If you've started planning it, what project are you thinking of starting with?

    DnD and Magic

Good call, that's where I got started too. I’d start with a prebuilt starter or commander deck just to get a feel for how the game works. Once you’ve played a bit, you’ll start catching onto the combos and strategy. You planning to play digital or go all-in with physical cards?

Taylor Sheridan leaving Paramount is a win for everyone

Yeah, this feels like a mix of timing and ego finally catching up. Sheridan basically was Paramount+ for a few years, so it makes sense he wouldn’t take kindly to someone else stepping in with opinions. Still, it’s probably a healthy reset for both sides, Paramount gets to rethink how it handles...

Spartacus: House of Ashur somehow feels bloodier than Spartacus

Yeah, I’m with you, it looks like they’re tapping back into what made the original work, just with a new power dynamic. Ashur running his own Ludus could open up some great storytelling, especially with Caesar in the mix. You're right though, the dwarf gladiator bit feels off, it breaks the tone...
