So EA was Netflix's first priority! WB might not like this

That actually makes sense for Netflix, even if it looks messy from the outside. EA fits their long-term play way better than WB right now with all the games, live services, and IP that feeds directly into subscriptions. WB is a minefield of legacy baggage and politics.

After Zootopia 2 hit $1 Billion, brace for an anime-heavy year in 2026

I actually just watched the first one very recently, before I did not understand the hype at all, but now I totally get it. That movie was great 😀 Super excited to see the sequel

    Anyone else excited about Supergirl?

Same here. I'm a big fan of Milly Alcock so I have pretty high hopes for this one

Anyone got the Avatar: Fire and Ash Popcorn bucket?

That is really cool! Definitely has a lot of potential for being a collectible

Thoughts on WB board rejecting Paramount's hostile takeover bid!

Yeah, this feels less like drama and more like WB just not wanting to rush into a bad deal. Turning down Paramount buys them time, plain and simple. Netflix might look like the obvious option on paper, but that comes with its own headaches too. At this point, it feels like WB is just weighing...

    What’s Everyone Collecting These Days?

Oh that's a pretty cool, have any pics you can share of your collection? I'd love to see 😀

Otlander Season 8 premiere date set, but has it overstayed its welcome?)

This is one that I've heard so much about, but somehow never watched. I might just wait until the final season is over at this point just so I can binge watch it all at once

Stranger Things: Tales From '85 just got interesting

Agreed, I felt similarly and wasn't looking forward to this last season, but I feel somewhat obligated to watch it since I've been watching since the start and I am pleasantly surprised. It has been extremely solid so far and I'm excited to see the remaining episodes

Will Avatar: Fire and Ash be the highest-grossing film of the year?

I love that. That's what I always hated about Marvel movies actually, I'd actively avoid an ads because they'd just spoil the entire movie for me. I've found that my favorite movie watching experiences have been going in with minimal to no background about the movie, makes it a lot more exciting...

Scarlett Johansson set to lead the next Exorcist movie!

Yeah, that’s the real danger with The Exorcist, it’s not a franchise that's even slightly forgiving. One mediocre entry and everyone will immediately declare the series dead forever

Should Avatar end with Fire and Ash?

Honestly, that’s the downside of setting the bar that high, anything less than a cultural earthquake feels like a miss. I'm sure the Avatar fanbase will show up no matter what, but Cameron can’t rely on spectacle forever. You're probably right, a breather and a tighter script might be exactly...

Did anyone else feel Freya Allen's pain when Henry Cavill left The Witcher?

I'm not sure I can think of an example where it has worked. And unfortunately the last season of The Witcher in my opinion was already pretty weak, so there wasn't much hope for this season being better (at least on my end ha)

I think James Gunn got the casting right when it comes to Superman and Supergirl

If they’re already clicking well enough to run an entire scene in Kryptonian, that’s a good sign. You can’t fake that kind of ease. Corenswet and Alcock feel like they actually belong in the same world, which is more than we’ve gotten from some recent DC casting. Now let’s see if Gunn can keep...

Did anyone else feel Freya Allen's pain when Henry Cavill left The Witcher?

Couldn't stress the double tragedy more. I'm not sure if I can watch the latest season because I just want to remember the show how it was, I don't have any interest in watching The Witcher if Henry Cavill isn't in it really

Scarlett Johansson set to lead the next Exorcist movie!

Hm that's definitely an interesting role for her, not something I would've expected. I feel like she could pull it off well, she's done a lot of interesting roles over the years, so excited to see how she does!

Stranger Things Season 5 is, hands down, one of the best TV Series endings of all tim!

Wow that's actually insane. I haven't watched it yet myself, part of me is still annoyed that I've have to wait 10 years to reach the conclusion of this show 😂 but I know I'll be watching it soon

Deadpool & Wolverine actually cost $533 million! Why are Superhero films so expensive?

Yeah, the price tags are getting ridiculous. When a movie has to make a billion just to even break even it feels like the whole genre is setting itself up to fail. Deadpool & Wolverine pulled it off, sure, but most superhero movies don’t have that kind of cushion. At some point studios are...
