Some creators have sworn blind that the version actually exists, but Peter Jackson's explanation makes more sense. I'd still pay anything to watch a fresh take of LOTR any day.

I would too, the longing is just soo deep. Everything Amazon has done so far doesn't even come close to what LOTR did to our generation.

Totally agree. I feel like the overall budget for the Amazon show was a bit shocking and that definitely created interest, but I haven't been overly impressed with that show at all.

Whereas watching LOTR is life changing. And really holds up even after this many years
