Thoughts on Netflix's plan to cut theatrical runs to just 17 days for WB films

Wow I can't even imagine that. If it was only 17 days why would anyone even bother to go to the theater when they can wait a couple weeks to watch it at home with a subscription they're already paying for. That seems like a horrible idea

Now you see why James Cameron said this deal would be the death of theaters as we know them? However, someone at WBD seems so eager to accept the deal, they have turned down an eighth Paramount bid and counting. Makes you wonder what that board sees in Netflix
