Who else thinks Maui was way better in the animated version?

I've been looking at Disney's latest teaser for live-action Moana, and I think the music is great and the early visuals are catchy. However, Must doesn't look as good as the animated version. I'm not saying this is a make-or-break for Dwayne Johnson, but I think we need to have a serious discussion about his performance in films when it really matters. Honestly. I THOUGHT Black Adam was just a blip, but now it has become a trend! Maybe my opinion will change when the film comes out,

I've never really been able to get into live action movies. I understand that a lot of work goes into making them of course, but conceptually they just feel so lazy and I feel like that taints any positive feelings I could have

I'm a big fan of live-action films, but I would rather invest my time and money in talent. Well-thought-out stories backed by a talented performance. With Moana, I'm not really worried about the writing, it is the overreliance on one actor, and now the live action seems to have turned into the Dwayne Johnson show
