Labubu Movie in the Works at Sony (Exclusive)
The movie studio closed a deal this week to develop the toy phenomenon as a feature film.

After the success of Barbie, I knew another toy brand would be selling film rights to a big studio soon and Labubu is more than capable of turning into the next Barbie. So, Sony has bought the rights through their Kpop Demon Hunters Brand, and while they will likely start with an animation film on this one, a live-action version could also happen. My concern is that they might blow it by trying to copy Barbie instead of creating something new and unique. I can't wait to see what they make with this one though!
