Netflix Sets ‘Stranger Things: Tales From ’85’ Voice Cast & First Look Photos Of Animated Spinoff

Netflix has unveiled the voice cast and released a first look teaser for Stranger Things: Tales from '85, the animated series based on the hit show Stranger Things.

Netflix has chosen Stranger Things Day to announce the cast of the animated series. I was mostly interested in who would play Will, and now it has been confirmed that it will be Benjamin Plessala. The series is set between seasons 2 and 3 of the live-action show, but according to the Duffer brothers, it is just the beginning of a bigger expansion of the universe.
The animated series sure is a good way to go limitless as far as the Universe is concerned, although I'm worried that they have already given up on the show since they already signed up to produce shows for Paramount. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing Tales from '85 for some closure and I'm sure, hope it will be delivered.

Yeah, I get what you mean, it does feel a bit like they’re trying to wrap things up while setting the stage for spin-offs. The Duffers moving to Paramount definitely adds some uncertainty, but maybe this animated series will show whether there’s still real passion behind the project or if it’s just brand maintenance. I’m cautiously optimistic, but I suppose we'll see in the next couple months how the show ends up

I am so not excited for the final season. I legitimately thought the 4th season was the final season, so I was very disappointed to see that cliff hanger. It also seemed like they'd pick up where they left off in the next season, but apparently the next season is like 18 months later so I don't really understand anymore and I'm not sure I care to

I think you should give Season 5 ago, it is one of the best TV series endings I've personally seen. Up there above GOT and Breaking bad . Maybe not necessarily, but it is definitely worth a shot, trust me.

Agreed, I felt similarly and wasn't looking forward to this last season, but I feel somewhat obligated to watch it since I've been watching since the start and I am pleasantly surprised. It has been extremely solid so far and I'm excited to see the remaining episodes

I actually didn't expect much when I started, then it grew on me as the dots started connecting and all of a sudden, it was like watching the first season all over again which is amazing. The Duffer brothers sure do know how to cook a great story

I'm in the same boat, it really has been great watching this season. I've completely regained my interest in the show, hopefully they keep it going and it ends on a high note

I hope so too. The upcoming animated version; I'm not so excited about though, especially since the Duffer brothers have signed on to Paramount, meaning they won't be as invested
