  • Second Game Crash?

Nintendo, once the company that saved gaming, is now facing backlash for filing patents that could let it claim ownership over common gameplay mechanics, sparking fears it could stifle creativity and harm both major studios and indie developers alike.

  • So… Doctor Who Just Regenerated Into Rose Tyler?

According to writer Robert Shearman, the 15th Doctor’s regeneration into Billie Piper has basically put a full stop on the entire Doctor Who story. That’s a wild way to end things if he’s right. After all these years, do you think this is a fitting way to close the loop or does it feel more like the show’s run out of ideas?

Kazuhiko Torishima, Toriyama’s old editor, just went off on Dragon Ball Super and Daima. He called Toyotarou’s manga “bad,” blasted the editing, said a Vegeta story would’ve been better, and straight-up called Daima a “sh***y anime.”

Coming from the guy who helped shape the original series, that’s… a lot.

Do you agree, or is this just old-school bitterness talking?

Dragon Ball Super has no impact. It makes no sense. Everyone acts out of character. Bad guys get reused and it's not even exciting. Everyone gets color swaps and that's about it. Nothing about it feels more powerful like with the new transformations. I'm sorry if all my posts seem negative, i've got a lot to complain about at the moment and i need to vet. lol

Yeah, I get what you mean. DBS does feel like it’s coasting a lot of the time and none of the big moments really land like the originals. Still, a few flashes are fun if you squint hard enough. Vent away though, Dragon Ball complaining is practically a sport at this point 😂

When they could write a new and better evil overlord persona, they HAD to bring Frieza back stead sigh
Any time they want to come back around to Uub being such a powerful fighter would be great. New villains would be nice too instead of evolutions of old villains. I think that’s why adapting the later chapter of the Super manga is such a pipedream for fans.

Poor Uub’s been training off-screen for like two decades now - dude has prolly mastered Ultra Instinct by accident and nobody noticed.

Dragon Ball keeps recycling power-ups and villains instead of expanding its world. Uub could’ve brought a whole new dynamic - human origins, spiritual power, maybe even a grounded contrast to the god-tier chaos we’ve been stuck in. The potential with Uub has been sitting there for years, but they just keep circling back to nostalgia. Imagine if they actually built the story around him as the next generation’s key fighter, then it could’ve made Super feel like a true continuation instead of a loop.
