I've never really been able to get into live action movies. I understand that a lot of work goes into making them of course, but conceptually they just feel so lazy and I feel like that taints any positive feelings I could have
Awesome! I have a couple questions myself:
How do you decide which new characters or story arcs should take priority when building out a fresh universe like this?
I see your background is in marketing, business, and film. How much do those influence the way you approach storytelling and shaping...
Yeah, I could totally see that. Richson’s got the build and attitude to pull off someone like Clayface. And him and Cena in the same movie? That’d be a fun matchup, they both have that mix of charm and brute force that would make it a blast to watch.
Yeah, I could totally see that happening. The Penguin’s story doesn’t feel done yet, and that ending definitely left room for more. Letting Sofia go after him before The Batman Part 2 would be a great way to keep the tension going and make the crossover feel more natural.
Right? That’s actually a brilliant bit of marketing. Even if the movie ends up being average, stuff like that makes the whole theater experience feel fun again. I’d probably go just for the bucket too.
Yeah, that’s pretty tone deaf timing. Even if AI is inevitable, reading that statement while people are struggling and losing jobs just feels out of touch. They could’ve at least blended human creativity with the tech instead of flaunting “zero human involvement” like it’s a flex
Yeah, I felt the same way, the slower first half actually made the chaos land harder. Spending time with Denji and Reze gave it some heart, so when everything went off the rails it actually meant something instead of just being loud action.
